Job summary

CAI is seeking an experienced commissioning professional in Raleigh, NC. The candidate will work on project teams, inspecting and troubleshooting data center commissioning facilities. Requirements include a BS in electrical or mechanical engineering and 5–10 years of experience in the data center industry. Benefits include 15% retirement contributions, 24 days PTO, health insurance, and financial support for education. Applicants must be able to work in the US without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of experience in commissioning and qualification in the data center industry.
• Experience leading large projects/facilities (minimum of 4 megawatts).
• Experience with commissioning plans, test scripts, schedules, and summary reports.

Position Description

• Work with project teams at client sites to inspect, test, and troubleshoot data center/building commissioning facilities and equipment.
• Identify and coordinate activities for commissioning and reporting.
• Serve as the point of contact with client personnel and the Regional Manager.
• Execute the work and oversee project activities.
• Electrical and/or mechanical commissioning experience is required.

Position Requirements

• BS in an electrical, mechanical, engineering field or equivalent experience
• 5–10+ years of experience in commissioning and qualification in the data center industry
• Experience leading large projects/facilities (minimum of 4 megawatts)
• Comfort in the construction industry (managing vendors, clients, subcontractors) is a plus
• Experience with commissioning plans/test scripts, schedules, budgets, change orders, and summary reports is desired
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams with full commissioning responsibility is desired
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Able to travel domestically and internationally as required
• Able to work paid overtime
• Able to work in the US without sponsorship now or any time in the future
