Job summary

Praetorian Power Protection, a leader in NETA testing and staff augmentation for mission-critical industries, seeks an Office Manager for our El Paso, TX team. You will manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and quality control logs, serving as the technical and administrative backbone for complex data center projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of engineering or construction administration experience, preferably in mission-critical environments (data centers, high-voltage substations, or industrial facility construction).
• Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam Revu, ACC/BIM 360, MS Excel).
• Basic understanding of electrical/mechanical power distribution systems, NETA testing standards, generators, UPS systems, and BMS/EPMS workflows.
• Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Document Control & Submittals: Manage RFIs and submittal reviews for electrical, mechanical, and testing scopes.
• Technical Logs & Compliance: Maintain logs for RFIs, submittals, field reports, change orders, and commissioning docs.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Link between project managers, field superintendents, commissioning engineers, NETA technicians, and trade contractors.
• Cost & Change Management: Review pay applications, track change orders, quantify material variations, monitor budgets.
• Meeting & Site Administration: Organize OAC and subcontractor meetings, track actions, and record minutes.
• Quality Assurance & Safety Support: Track QA/QC punch lists, safety logs, inspection records, and early commissioning docs.
• Project Closeout: Compile NETA test reports, O&M manuals, warranties, as-builts, and final CX deliverables.
