Job summary

Consigli Construction seeks a Senior Commissioning Manager within its M/E/P Services to lead commissioning, startup, system completion, turnover, and operational readiness on data center projects, coordinating Levels 1-3 and supporting Levels 4-5 testing with Owner’s team.

You will guide field teams, coordinate contractors and vendors, review drawings and sequences, manage test plans and punch lists, promote safety and quality, and report progress to stakeholders across the project.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in commissioning, startup, construction, or mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning planning, coordination, execution, startup, and turnover readiness.
• Own and coordinate commissioning activities for Levels 1-3, including testing and readiness milestones.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, OEMs, controls teams, MEP superintendents, commissioning teams, and operations personnel.
• Review drawings, specifications, sequences, and commissioning requirements to identify readiness issues.
• Coordinate pre-functional checks, startup activities, functional testing, walkdowns, and turnover requirements.
• Manage commissioning documentation, including test plans, checklists, records, deficiencies, and turnover docs.
• Support owner-led Levels 4-5 testing by coordinating field readiness and documentation.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, controls, BMS/BAS, and related systems through commissioning.
• Lead deficiency and punch list management and ensure timely resolution prior to turnover.
• Coordinate cutovers, transitions, contingency measures, and readiness activities with project team.
• Track and report commissioning risks, constraints, and schedule impacts.
• Promote safe work practices, quality expectations, and project safety requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and field leadership to project teams and trade partners.
