Job summary

Meade is seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to provide on-site technical leadership for commissioning mission-critical data center facilities, overseeing L0-L6 levels, testing, and handover.

Reporting to the Director, this role mentors engineers, coordinates with contractors and vendors, ensures safety and quality, and travels weekly to job sites.

The candidate brings deep MEP knowledge, applies NEC/ASHRAE/NFPA/IEEE codes, and leads execution with strong project management.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in building systems commissioning with leadership across L0-L6.
• 3+ years leading commissioning activities and mentoring field teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Deep knowledge of HVAC, electrical, BMS and control sequences.
• Familiar with NEC, ASHRAE, NFPA, IEEE and related codes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site technical authority for the full L0–L6 commissioning of MEP systems.
• Translate high-level Commissioning Plan into detailed site execution plans and tests.
• Lead day-to-day commissioning activities, testing, startup, energization, handover.
• Maintain site-level schedule, track milestones, ensure first-pass test success.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with contractors, vendors, and clients.
