Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Summer 2027 student intern to join the Data Center On-Site Services team. You will assist with testing and verifying installed electrical equipment on site, including PDUs, UPS, generators, and switchgear, and help troubleshoot issues during pre-functional and functional tests.

You will gain hands-on experience in on-site commissioning for major clients, develop testing skills, and contribute to safer, more reliable data center operations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in an electrical discipline and able to read construction drawings.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities are required.
• Detail-oriented with good problem-solving and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assist with testing and verifying all installed electrical equipment on site (PDUs, UPS, generators, switchgear).
• Perform pre-functional and functional testing and help troubleshoot issues that arise.
• Support on-site commissioning processes for data center projects.
