Job summary

Olsson seeks a summer 2027 student intern to work on data center projects, assisting in designing building automation systems and power monitoring. You will contribute to conceptual and detailed designs, site testing, and construction administration while gaining hands-on, real-world experience that enhances classroom learning.

You may travel to job sites as projects require, gaining exposure to large-scale engineering-driven work and cross-disciplinary collaboration within Olsson’s team.

Qualifications

• You are pursuing a degree in electrical, mechanical or architectural engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is expected.
• Previous experience with Revit is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Building Management System (BMS) design, specifications and drawings.
• Support design of electrical power monitoring systems for data centers.
• Travel to job sites may be required.
