Chugach Government Solutions, LLC (CGS) is seeking an on-site Custodian in Annapolis Junction, MD to perform data center and sensitive-area cleaning using industry-best practices. The role emphasizes safety, proper documentation, and coordination with customers to minimize disruption.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least one year of relevant cleaning experience, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and pass a background/drug screening for security clearance.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of similar commercial cleaning experience, including sensitive areas such as data centers.
• Experience with cleaning and waxing compounds, floor buffers and custodial equipment.
• Knowledge of specialty cleaning (HPL floors, VCT, ULPA, anti-static finishes).
• Ability to pass pre-hire background and drug screen; obtain required clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Dust and clean identified areas per the cleaning schedule and industry standards.
• Document work accurately and timely per procedures and management instructions.
• Coordinate times, access and accommodations with the customer to minimize disruption.
• Report scheduling challenges to management to avoid delays in completion.
• Use appropriate supplies and tools for cleaning tasks; handle chemicals safely.
• Strip and refinish vinyl composition tile (VCT).
• Respond to emergencies as directed or needed.
• Move material, equipment and furniture as required to perform tasks.
• Maintain custodian equipment, inventory and tools; assist others as needed.
• Follow safety and security protocols and prepare cleaning equipment.
