Job summary

STO Building Group Careers is seeking a Civil Superintendent to support a data center new construction project in Butler Township, PA. The Civil Superintendent is responsible for overall management and success of construction projects: quality, client satisfaction and profitability goals.

The role includes overseeing CSA systems, coordinating trades (MEP), managing project staff, and ensuring timely documentation and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or construction science preferred
• 4–5 years in mission critical, industrial, health care construction management
• Heavy civil, structural, or architectural background preferred
• Experience coming from the sub-contractor world is acceptable
• Experience with Procore and Bluebeam

Responsibilities

• Oversight of CSA systems throughout the construction management process
• Manage all staff assigned to project and relationship management among project owner, owner’s tenants and all professional groups involved
• Oversee timely and accurate completion of all documentation and administrative aspects relating to project management execution
• Oversee mechanical, electrical and plumbing trades and coordination
• Monitor schedules, spending and related
• Prepare and submit change orders for approval by clients and director of operations
• Review subcontractor and vendor invoices
• Ensure subcontractors are advised of all change orders
• Prepare all close out documentation including warranty information, affidavits, record drawings
