Job summary

Switch is seeking a Data Center Civil Works Construction Manager in Las Vegas to lead civil construction activities on data center projects. You will represent Switch in the field, ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence, and coordinate with structural, MEP, architectural, and operations teams.

You will review plans and submittals, manage field issues, and drive corrective actions while maintaining comprehensive site documentation and readiness for commissioning and handover.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of civil construction experience with field execution and contractor oversight.
• Experience delivering mission-critical facilities or data centers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day civil construction activities and contractor performance at the project site.
• Verify work complies with drawings, specs, quality standards, schedules, and contract requirements.
• Inspect excavation, foundations, concrete, drainage, utilities, and site development.
• Coordinate civil work with structural, MEP, architectural, utility, commissioning, and operations teams.
• Maintain site records, progress reports, inspection documentation, punch lists, and NCRs.
• Review as-built drawings and verify readiness for commissioning and handover.
