Job summary

IREN, a vertically integrated AI Cloud provider, is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead procurement for a new data center site in the Texas/Oklahoma area, focusing on capital construction and infrastructure packages.

You will negotiate contracts, manage supplier performance, and collaborate with Engineering, Legal, Finance and Operations to deliver on-time, on-budget projects in a high-availability environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of progressive procurement experience, including capital project sourcing within the construction or Data Center industry.
• Experience supporting large infrastructure, industrial, energy, or data center projects.
• Demonstrated success leading complex negotiations and contract management.
• Experience building or leading procurement teams.
• Strong understanding of commercial terms, contract structures, and risk mitigation.
• Experience working within ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Strong financial and commercial acumen.
• Experience in data center, mission-critical, energy, or high-availability environments.
• Experience supporting greenfield site builds or major expansions.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and critical infrastructure supply markets.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for mechanical, electrical, structural, and critical equipment packages
• Run RFQs/RFPs, evaluate proposals, and support vendor selection
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms
• Track long-lead items and ensure on-time delivery
• Partner closely with Engineering, Construction, Legal, and Finance
