Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager II for Capacity Planning in Data Centers. You will own multi-discipline programs from requirements to schedules, collaborating with engineers, logistics, and site teams to balance space, power, and cooling constraints across global data centers.

This role emphasizes data-driven governance, feasibility studies, and tooling automation to maximize infrastructure utilization.

Qualifications

Experience using data analysis or data center infrastructure management tools to manage inventory and power audits.
Experience with capacity planning within data center environments.
Ability to manage cross-functional projects and communicate with executives and engineers.

Responsibilities

Own the recurring reconciliation of usable power and spatial capacity across global data center clusters to reflect physical floor reality.
Drive power over subscription and spatial release strategies to reclaim stranded floor spots and maximize data center value.
Collaborate with partner teams on site-specific space, power, and network reservation constraints to unblock critical orders.
Serve as the technical sign-off on space, power, and cooling feasibility studies for high-density ML/deployments.
Collaborate with Data Center Fleet Efficiency, Capacity Planning, Power Engineering, Networking, Order Management, and Data Center Operations to align capacity policies.
