Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a Technical Program Manager III, Infrastructure Capacity Planning, Global Infrastructure, to own end-to-end capacity forecasting for dedicated pools and drive supply planning across global clusters. You will translate workloads into physical capacity and coordinate with SREs and product managers to unblock services.

Ideal candidates have strong program management experience, data analysis skills, and expertise in capacity planning, with the ability to influence executives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of program management experience.
• Experience with data analysis, BI, or dashboarding tools (e.g., SQL or metrics platforms).
• Experience with infrastructure capacity planning.
• 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

Responsibilities

• Own the capacity forecast for dedicated machine pools across global clusters, modeling organic growth and large migrations.
• Translate resource demands into physical dedicated machine supply, ensuring hardware rules and failure-domain minimums.
• Lead annual planning, allocation reconciliation, and escalation cycles for specialty dedicated infrastructure orders.
• Coordinate with SREs, TIRMs, and PARMs to unblock and onboard services without stockouts.
• Drive two supply fulfillment paths: long-lead orders with power validation and donor quota transfers.
