Job summary

CBRE | DIRECTLINE is seeking a Technician 1 to install and maintain low voltage cabling in a data center environment. You will work under supervision, running cables, connecting wires, and following safety protocols while engaging with customers as needed.

The role requires reading blueprints, understanding MDF/IDF layouts, and performing terminations and cable testing in a fast-paced data center setting, indoors and outdoors as required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic telecom hand tools.
• Strong emphasis on customer service.
• Commitment to safety requirements.
• Ability to read floor plans.
• Familiar with wiring schemes and testing.
• Ability to pull various types of low voltage cable.
• Capable of field terminations and labeling.
• Experience with MDF/IDF layouts and labeling.
