Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Low Voltage Technician (Tech I/II) in Brownsburg, IN. The role supports a large data center project, with initial work from a Brownsburg warehouse and transitioning to a Lebanon, IN site.

Expect a Monday–Friday schedule, about 50 hours weekly, and hands-on training for entry-level Tech I with expanded duties for Tech II. The position is contract-to-hire, onsite, with opportunities in structured cabling, fiber optics, CCTV, and access control.

Qualifications

• Experience with data centers, fiber optics, and structured cabling is preferred.
• Tech II: able to work more independently on installations and terminations.
• Familiarity with fiber testing and OTDR equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prefabricate materials for data center installations.
• Set up server racks and data center infrastructure.
• Install and route structured cabling (CAT5/ CAT6).
• Pull and terminate fiber and copper cabling.
• Label cables for identification and future maintenance.
• Perform low-voltage terminations.
• Assist with CCTV and access control installations.
• Support basic troubleshooting under guidance.
