Job summary

CBRE DIRECTLINE is seeking a Lead Cable Technician to oversee installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of data center cabling infrastructure. You will guide a team of technicians to ensure safe, on-time project delivery and high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, coordinating with stakeholders, and maintaining safety and cleanliness across data center sites. Strong leadership and customer-service skills are required.

Qualifications

• Lead a crew of 1-5 technicians.
• Strong technical expertise in data center cabling.
• Ability to read blueprints and building documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install/decommission network and cabling in data centers.
• Deliver repeatable, quality-focused processes.
• Provide project progress feedback to stakeholders.
• Maintain data center cleanliness and safety standards.
• Follow all production, safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to remove obstacles.
• Read and interpret floor plans and blueprints.
• Understand data center infrastructure technologies.
