Job summary

Network Connex is seeking a Project Lead (Lead Technician) to manage all phases of data center installation projects. You will lead the engineering work packages, ensure high installation quality, and deliver exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to mentor junior technicians while coordinating with field supervision. On-site work with frequent travel is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in Structured Cabling or Telecommunications.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred – within 90 days of hire.
• First Aid and CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Fiber Optic Association certifications preferred.
• BICSI technical certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and decommission critical cabling and network infrastructure in a Data Center.
• Lead and mentor Infrastructure Technicians on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Ensure work conforms to project drawings, plans, specs, and manufacturer recommendations.
• Plan and assign daily work with the field supervisor for structured cabling systems.
• Travel up to 50% for onsite data center deployments.
