Job summary

Milliken & Company is seeking a Cable Management Application Engineer to support on-site installation, trials, and training for MaxCell and related cable management products. You will work with customers, distributors, and internal teams to drive product adoption and support new developments.

Preferred candidates are located near Atlanta, GA or nearby areas and able to travel at least 50% (including international).

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a customer-facing technical role (field service, application engineering, or industrial support).
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time, including international travel.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for equipment setup, trials, testing and troubleshooting.
• Ability to collaborate internally and externally to shape ideas and support customer and manufacturing needs.
• Strong follow-up, organizational, presentation, and technical writing skills.
• Independent and cross-cultural team member with integrity and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Take a technical leadership position in the region for all MaxCell and Cable Management solutions.
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to end users, contractors, and distributors.
• Support on-site trials, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept activities; drive technical close.
• Conduct customer and internal product training on installation procedures and guidelines.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop technical content and product documentation.
• Support new product development through design, trials, testing and collaboration with manufacturing.
• Lead launch scale-up activities and ensure compliant certifications and quality parameters.
• Interface with manufacturing on process improvements and provide technical support.
