Job summary

Prime Partners in the Atlanta area is seeking a Cabling Technician for a data center project in Lithia Springs, GA. You will install, route, label, and secure Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling, pull cables through trays and conduits, and terminate copper and fiber cables.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of structured cabling or data center experience, can read basic blueprints, use hand tools and testing equipment, and lift up to 50 lbs while maintaining a safe, clean work area.

Qualifications

• At least 1+ year of structured cabling or data center experience.
• Experience with Cat5e, Cat6, and/or fiber optic cabling.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and testing equipment.
• Ability to work on ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, label, and secure Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling.
• Pull and dress cables through trays, conduits, and overhead pathways.
• Terminate and test copper and fiber cables.
• Install patch panels, racks, cabinets, and cable management systems.
• Read basic blueprints and follow installation standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Work with the team to complete projects on schedule.
