Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Senior Business Development Director to lead capture of design-build and construction work in the Data Center market across North America. The role empowers the right candidate to build client relationships, shape go-to-market strategies, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to win projects.

The position requires a strong business development mindset, industry knowledge, and ability to travel extensively to pursue opportunities and engage with key clients and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing and/or Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in the engineering and construction industry, preferably focused in the Data Center market, plus demonstrated sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients, vendors, partners, and third party engineers to establish a sales pipeline and achieve capture goals in the Data Centers market.
• Establish and maintain key relationships with repeat and new clients from C-Suite thru operational levels.
• Lead client visits and presentations with key business stakeholders typically less familiar/comfortable with the sales process.
• Coordinate with BLMs and marketing to ensure development of messaging, attendance and investment to drive growth.
• Travel at least 50% to meet pursuit goals and client engagements.
