Job summary

ON.energy is seeking a Site Project Manager to lead Battery Energy Storage System and hybrid energy projects at the data center sites across the U.S., including Texas. You will manage mobilization, construction planning, execution, commissioning support and closeout, reporting to the Project Executive and coordinating with commissioning teams.

You will oversee on-site teams, manage budgets, schedules and safety, and ensure quality and contractual alignment across all project stages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in energy project management.
• Experience managing EPC contractors and overseeing complex infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera) and budget tracking.
• Strong understanding of project controls, cost forecasting and risk management.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the jobsite primary point of contact with the client and align across all project stages.
• Support the Project Executive in delivering full scope: safety, schedule, budget, engineering, quality, commissioning and compliance.
• Develop and monitor project schedules.
• Support with execution to align with budgets and monthly forecasting.
• Identify and mitigate on-site project risks related to cost, safety, quality and delivery.
• Oversee on-site operations and contractor activities for scope, safety and quality.
• Lead coordination meetings with GC, subcontractors, and client teams.
• Conduct site walks and verify design compliance and potential deviations.
