ITP (International Talent Partnership) is seeking an Applications Engineer to be the technical face for rack-based BBU and distributed power solutions with customers in the US. You will lead solution discussions, run design reviews and translate customer needs into build direction.
This remote role requires strong power engineering background, hands-on experience with UPS, battery systems and system-level design, plus willingness to travel nationally to customer sites as needed.
A global designer and manufacturer of custom battery-pack and power systems is scaling its presence in data-center power, and is looking for a customer-facing Applications Engineer to be the technical face of its rack-based battery backup (BBU) and distributed UPS solutions to the market.
This is a role for an engineer who likes being in front of customers. You'll be the person power architects and engineering teams at the world's largest compute and infrastructure companies call when they need a backup-power solution designed around their rack, their load profile and their roadmap. You'll translate what the customer needs into what the business builds — and translate what the business can do into language their decision-makers can act on. Success here is measured in design wins secured and customer relationships deepened, not drawings released.
Our client is a global designer and manufacturer of custom battery-pack and power systems, with manufacturing operations across North America, Mexico, Brazil and Asia and significant annual revenue. The business is expanding fast in data‑center power - specifically the rack-based BBU and distributed UPS architectures that deliver critical seconds‑to‑minutes of ride‑through for the compute infrastructure behind modern AI and cloud.
If you want to own the technical relationship with the customers who define this market, we'd like to hear from you.
