Job summary

Shambaugh & Son, L.P. seeks a Project Manager to lead installation and commissioning of Temperature Controls systems across data center projects. You will oversee all phases of BAS/BMS project execution—from engineering and programming to installation and closeout—ensuring on-time, on-scope, and on-budget delivery.

The role requires coordinating engineers, programmers, and installers, with frequent travel and extended hours as needed. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing HVAC, BAS, BMS or control system installations.
• Strong understanding of HVAC and hydronic systems.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours as needed.
• Regular and reliable attendance, including extended hours and weekends if required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute control system implementation plans tailored to client needs.
• Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, programmers, and installers.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Manage project documentation, RFIs, change orders, and field surveys.
• Support technical troubleshooting and commissioning efforts.
• Ensure compliance with budget and schedule targets.
• Other duties as assigned
