Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a seasoned professional to lead control systems for AWS data centers. The role focuses on building management and electrical power monitoring systems, with responsibility for scoping, BOMs, and cross-team coordination.

You will review MEP drawings, guide control logic development, and supervise maintenance activities while traveling domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of controls experience, or 10+ years in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years with industrial controls in critical environments (data centers, etc).
• MS in Engineering is preferred for advanced roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage scope of Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) for AWS data center construction.
• Review and feedback on MEP drawings to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Develop controls BOM and manage vendor deliverables across multiple stakeholders.
• Develop and modify control logic programming and graphical user interfaces.
• Schedule and supervise quarterly maintenance for BMS and EPMS.
• Participate in a global on-call schedule.
