Job summary

Sunrise Systems is seeking a Service Management Specialist to support day-to-day asset management in a Data Center environment. This role requires hands-on verification of physical IT assets and active ticketing in ServiceNow.

Key responsibilities include asset verification, tag validation, and reconciliation using DCIM tools, with collaboration across Data Center Operations and Infrastructure teams in Chandler, AZ. On-site work is required for this 12-month contract.

Qualifications

• Experience using ServiceNow for ticketing and asset work in a data center.
• Knowledge of DCIM tools and physical IT asset verification.
• Experience with asset inventory reconciliation and audits.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical verification of IT assets within the Data Center.
• Validate asset tags and ensure asset information matches inventory records.
• Identify discrepancies in asset records and create/update tickets in ServiceNow.
• Use ServiceNow to track asset-related requests and maintain documentation.
• Utilize DCIM tools to verify asset locations, rack positions, power, and inventory.
• Support asset inventory, audits, and reconciliation activities.
• Collaborate with Data Center Operations, Infrastructure, and Asset Management teams.
• Follow established asset management processes and documentation standards.
• Assist in maintaining asset and location data across enterprise systems.
