Job summary

Sunbird seeks a DCIM Auditor to support on-site audits and infrastructure documentation under project leads. You will identify in-scope assets, document cabinets and equipment, and validate asset placement while ensuring data accuracy and completeness.

The role involves travel to client sites, executing audit plans, and collaborating with Project Engineers to escalate risks and scope issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Document cabinets and installed assets following defined standards.
• Capture asset details for servers, network devices, storage, and related equipment.
• Validate asset presence, placement, and basic attributes.
• Perform structured asset audits across data center environments.
• Ensure audit data is accurate, consistent, and complete.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites to support audits and data collection (90%).
• Execute audit plans under direction of Project Engineers.
• Identify in-scope infrastructure and assets within assigned areas.
• Flag risks, gaps, and scope issues to senior team members.
• Assist with physical inspections of data center environments.
• Observe and report on general facility conditions.
• Produce audit documentation for review.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and issues found.
