Job summary

Our client, a technology leader, seeks a Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician in Phoenix, AZ. This 18-month contract role supports Cloud Operations & Innovation with rigorous inventory management and asset control.

The position requires a High School Diploma with at least 6 months in inventory-related work; IT hardware familiarity and strong communication are valued. Local on-site work with flexible schedules and benefits after waiting period.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and 6 months experience in inventory management or related field.
  • Preferred: 2+ years in warehouse/supply chain in an IT environment.
  • Familiar with IT hardware, warranty claims, and RMA processes.
  • Ability to operate forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus.
  • Strong communication and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cycle audits and document all transactions accurately.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to initiate warranty claims and returns.
  • Develop working knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
  • Ensure compliance with security and data management policies for data-bearing devices.
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies and maintain detailed physical inventory records.
