Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Atlanta, GA seeks a Software Development Engineer to build scalable data analytics platforms for AWS data centers. You will develop data pipelines and tooling to harness operational data and ensure data reliability for decision making.

You will partner with data engineers, BI engineers, and TPMs to deliver end-to-end solutions, design APIs, and explore AI-assisted enhancements to optimize center operations at scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years in design or architecture of large-scale systems.
• 1+ year in distributed software applications or services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data analytics platforms.
• Develop APIs and integrations to connect tools with enterprise platforms.
• Build automated reporting systems for data center performance metrics.
• Develop ML models or AI tools to optimize operations.
• Collaborate with data engineers, BI engineers, and TPMs to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Lead design reviews and provide architecture guidance.
• Drive generative AI tooling and automation for data center workflows.
• Write clean, well-documented code following best practices.
