Job summary

Energy Trust of Oregon, Inc. is seeking a Data and Automation Manager to design enterprise-wide data strategies, drive automation, and lead a cross-functional team. You’ll govern data platforms, analytics, and AI-enabled workflows to optimize operations and decision making.

The role reports to the IT Manager and requires collaboration across Infrastructure, Business Systems, and Enterprise Architecture. Portland-based with flexible work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data management, automation, or related domains.
• 3+ years of leadership or technical leadership experience.
• Experience managing data engineering, ETL, BI, or enterprise reporting platforms.
• Experience with governance for self-service reporting, low-code/no-code, or AI.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data, automation, and reporting technologists.
• Set goals, assign work, manage workloads, and conduct evaluations.
• Align platforms and standards with IT and Enterprise Architecture.
• Develop and communicate a roadmap for data, reporting, automation, and AI initiatives.
• Oversee data warehouse, ETL processes, and data structures for analytics.
• Manage low-code/no-code applications, workflows, and integrations.
• Govern AI-enabled automations with responsible use and oversight.
• Collaborate to establish governance for AI and automation platforms.
