We are excited to share that we are looking for an Automation Engineer to join our Trading team!

In this role, you will develop and maintain automated processes and reporting solutions that support our trading teams' daily operations and decision-making. You will collaborate with traders, analysts, and developers to streamline workflows, improve data accuracy, and deliver timely insights.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented engineer with a strong foundation in Python and SQL, and a passion for automation in a dynamic, data-driven environment.

What will you be doing?

• Design, implement, and maintain automated processes and scripts to support trading operations.
• Develop automated reporting pipelines and dashboards for real-time and scheduled data delivery to stakeholders.
• Work with large datasets from multiple sources; clean, transform, and structure data for reporting and analysis.
• Collaborate with the trading team to identify manual workflows and develop automation solutions.
• Ensure automation reliability, scalability, and monitoring across internal tools.
• Maintain documentation and version control for all automation and reporting assets.
• Support ad-hoc reporting and automation requests from the trading department.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript.
• Proficient in SQL and working with relational databases.
• Experience with automation of reports, data pipelines, or business processes.
• Solid understanding of scripting best practices, debugging, and exception handling.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-intensive environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Databricks.
• Experience or knowledge of GitHub.
