Job summary

Mullins Mechanical is seeking a Data & Automation Specialist to design, develop, and maintain operational reports, dashboards, and automation solutions that drive performance and efficiency. You will collaborate with leaders and system admins to identify automation opportunities and ensure data integrity across reporting platforms, aligning with business processes.

Based in the Greenway office, this role supports Operational Excellence with analytics, process improvements, and end-user training

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience developing operational reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
Experience with business intelligence platforms such as Power BI or similar tools.
Experience designing, implementing, and supporting workflow automation solutions.
Strong understanding of data management, data quality, and reporting best practices.
Ability to analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working with ERP, project management, HRIS, or operational systems preferred.
Strong organizational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain operational reports, dashboards, and visualizations that provide meaningful business insights.
Partner with business leaders to understand reporting requirements and KPIs.
Create standardized reporting solutions that improve visibility into operational performance.
Monitor reporting effectiveness and continually enhance reporting capabilities based on business needs.
Partner with the Systems Integrations Lead to identify opportunities to automate manual, repetitive, or error-prone processes.
Assist in defining business requirements, documenting workflows, and evaluating automation opportunities.
Support the implementation, testing, validation, and adoption of automation solutions within approved business processes.
Monitor automation outcomes and identify opportunities for refinement and continuous improvement.
Develop reporting and performance metrics that measure the effectiveness of automation solutions.
Document process changes and support end-user training and change management activities.
Develop data-driven insights to support Operational Excellence initiatives.
