Job summary

Planned Parenthood Federation of America seeks a Manager, Data Architect to design and implement enterprise data architecture supporting fundraising and program analytics. The role focuses on building scalable data frameworks, data lakehouse governance, and collaboration with multiple teams to drive data-driven decision making.

You will define data strategies, optimize data integration, and mentor staff while maintaining secure, compliant data environments across PPFA networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 3–5 years of related experience in data architecture and engineering in an enterprise data warehouse.
• Ability to recognize and respond to problems in a professional, confidential, and sensitive manner.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
• Understanding of data warehouse methodologies, data engineering principles, concepts, and methodologies.
• Experience with SQL is required; experience with dbt, Redshift, and Salesforce is preferred.
• Commitment to Planned Parenthood’s mission and equity goals.

Responsibilities

• Create scalable data frameworks to support fundraising and organizational data needs.
• Advise on data integration and engineering to deepen data-driven understanding.
• Lead the data lakehouse delivery, improving outcomes and insight generation.
• Define methodology with emphasis on issue analysis and resolution.
• Maintain data platforms, project tools, and documentation.
• Develop logical and physical data models to support enterprise data strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide training and technical support.
