Job summary

Planned Parenthood Federation of America seeks a conscientious Manager, Data Architect to design and govern enterprise data architecture supporting fundraising goals. This role will model data, support the data lakehouse, and advise on integration and engineering practices across the organization.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, maintain platforms, and train teams while aligning with PPFA’s mission and DEI commitments. Travel is minimal, and the impact spans nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3–5 years in data architecture/engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with professional discretion.
• Experience with data warehouse concepts and methodologies.
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce) and cloud data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Create a scalable data framework to support fundraising goals.
• Review data integration/engineering to deepen a data-driven culture.
• Oversee data lakehouse delivery and identify improvements for outcomes.
• Define methodology with focus on issue analysis.
• Maintain data platforms, wiki, shared drive, and PM tools.
• Develop logical/physical data models for the enterprise data lakehouse.
• Lead cross-team projects to ensure timely delivery.
