Job summary

SMX is seeking a Data Architecture Analyst to bridge finance teams with LCNC engineers. You will design data schemas, map process workflows, and translate complex Army financial requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.

You will ensure the platform provides role-based dashboards and fit-for-purpose user experiences, while drafting guides and SOPs to support the sustainment handoff and data governance.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret Clearance (or higher).
• 5+ years of business/functional analysis for enterprise IT.
• Experience with process mapping and requirements gathering.
• Experience with system migration efforts.
• Experience handling large federal financial datasets.
• Familiarity with Python, pandas, PyArrow data manipulation.

Responsibilities

• Document business processes, data structures, calculations, workflows, and write-back processes to transition functionality off GFEBS BW.
• Develop use cases, user stories, and maintain requirements traceability through LCNC implementation.
• Draft essential user guides, data dictionaries, and SOPs to support sustainment handoff.
• Communicate effectively with functional users and technical teams to preserve data lineage and control totals.
