Job summary

SMX seeks a Data Architecture Analyst to bridge finance teams and LCNC engineers, designing data schemas and mapping workflows. You translate Army financial requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring dashboards support role-based access and aligned experiences.

You will document processes, data structures, and write-back flows to transition functionality off legacy systems, and develop use cases and SOPs to support handoff and ongoing sustainment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business or functional analysis experience supporting enterprise IT systems.
• Active U.S. Secret Clearance (or higher).
• Experience with process mapping, requirements gathering, and supporting system migration efforts.

Responsibilities

• Document business processes, data structures, calculations, workflows, and write-back processes to transition functionality off GFEBS BW.
• Develop use cases, user stories, and maintain requirements traceability from current state through LCNC implementation.
• Draft essential user guides, data dictionaries, and SOPs to support the sustainment handoff.
• Communicate effectively with both functional users and technical integration teams to ensure data ingestion preserves source lineage and control totals.
