Job summary

SMX is hiring a Data Architecture Analyst to bridge the gap between functional finance teams and LCNC engineers. You will design data schemas, map workflows, and translate Army financial requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria. The role focuses on role-based dashboards and fit-for-purpose user experiences.

The position requires active U.S. Secret or higher clearance, 5+ years of analysis experience, and experience with data modeling and data manipulation frameworks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business or functional analysis experience
• Experience with process mapping and requirements gathering
• Experience supporting system migration efforts
• Familiarity with data manipulation frameworks (Python, pandas, PyArrow)
• Experience with data modeling and documentation techniques

Responsibilities

• Document business processes, data structures, calculations, and workflows
• Develop use cases and maintain requirements traceability from current state through LCNC implementation
• Draft user guides, data dictionaries, and SOPs for sustainment handoff
• Communicate with users and integration teams to ensure data ingestion preserves lineage and totals
