Job summary

SMX is hiring a Data Architecture Analyst to bridge the gap between functional finance teams and technical LCNC engineers. The role involves designing data schemas, mapping process workflows, and translating Army financial requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret Clearance (or higher).
• 5+ years of business or functional analysis experience supporting enterprise IT systems.
• Experience with process mapping, requirements gathering, and supporting system migration efforts.

Responsibilities

• Document business processes, data structures, calculations, workflows, and write-back processes to transition functionality off GFEBS BW.
• Develop use cases, user stories, and maintain requirements traceability from current state through LCNC implementation.
• Draft essential user guides, data dictionaries, and SOPs to support the sustainment handoff.
• Communicate effectively with both functional users and technical integration teams to ensure data ingestion preserves source lineage and control totals.
