The successful candidate will consolidate reporting data marts into an Enterprise Data Warehouse and related data marts, focusing on architecture, profiling, ETL, data quality, and governance across the enterprise.

Strong communication with stakeholders and experience in public-sector environments are valued.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in CS, IT, cybersecurity, or data management.
• 5+ years of architecture risk assessments and related services.
• 2+ years in or with public-sector environments and policies.
• 5+ years in data architecture, modeling, and enterprise data solutions.
• 5+ years with data modeling tools (e.g., PowerDesigner, SAP) and architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead data architecture and modeling for JIMS 3.0 integration.

Job description

This is a remote position.We are seeking aSenior Data Architectto support a large-scaleJustice Information Management System (JIMS) 3.0data integration and modernization initiative. The successful candidate will help consolidate multiple reporting data marts into an integratedEnterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)and supporting data marts and views. This role will focus on data architecture, data profiling, data modeling, ETL development, data quality, reporting validation, and enterprise data governance.

Requirements

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Management, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience providing architecture risk assessments and architecture-related services.
• 2+ years of experience working in or with public-sector environments, with an understanding of public-sector policies and practices.
• 5+ years of experience working with data architecture, data modeling, and enterprise data solutions.
• 5+ years of experience developing with data modeling/architecture tools such as SAP/Sybase PowerDesigner or equivalent.
• Strong experience with data warehousing, ETL, data marts, facts, dimensions, and data modeling.
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Strong SQL and relational database experience.
• Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence/reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of information management, data governance, data quality, and cybersecurity policies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
