This role shapes enterprise data strategy, enhances data availability, and supports mission-driven decision making across the DON. GDIT emphasizes enterprise-wide data design, collaboration with DoD/DON IT teams, and governance frameworks, with a strong focus on data modeling, standards, and scalable data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, math, stats, business, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience modeling data using architecture disciplines.
• 3+ years of experience with data management, repositories, data modeling, data quality and data mapping tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise-wide data design and optimization for architecture and data solutions.
• Collaborate with DoD and DON IT domains to align with DON CDO priorities.
• Create baselines for data transformation and standardization using Jira or similar tools.
• Translate enterprise needs into long-term information architecture patterns and solutions.
• Support data governance, metadata management, and data quality programs.
