Strategic Data Systems, Inc. seeks a Senior Information Management Specialist (Data Governance) to support a DoN customer at Dahlgren, VA.

The role emphasizes data governance, architecture, and lifecycle management within a secure, enterprise environment. Required are a high school diploma with a preferred bachelor’s degree, a Secret clearance or higher, and 6+ years in ADP/Navy ERP settings with relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• BS/BA preferred; high school required
• Secret clearance or above (T3/T3R)
• 6+ years in ADP/Navy ERP environments
• CompTIA Security+ or IAM III equivalents
• Ability to translate information needs into prioritized data tasks
• Experience presenting education and awareness briefings on security policies
• Understanding cloud deployment models (private/public/hybrid) and on/off-premises differences
• Ability to label data for discoverability and governance

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains data management, governance, security, and disposal plans
• Support data architecture, integration analytics, and end-user visualization capabilities
• Provide lifecycle support for software, applications, endpoints, and cybersecurity artifacts
• Consult with customers to evaluate functional requirements for AI and data apps
• Review feedback to drive continual service improvement
• Assist teams to identify, curate, and manage data
• Operate with Intermediate or higher proficiency in the designated work role code (CWF 424)
