Job summary

Aligned Data Centers is seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to design robust, scalable data architectures and enable advanced data integration pipelines across on-premises and cloud environments. The role emphasizes ingestion from SQL databases, APIs, files, and streaming sources with strong governance and analytics readiness.

The ideal candidate will leverage Microsoft Fabric, AWS, and Azure services to build BI-ready models and partner with teams to align data solutions with business goals

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS/IS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in data architecture/BI in corporate environments.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and related tools.
• Expertise in data ingestion, transformation, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• API design, development, and management (RESTful, OAuth).
• Knowledge of AWS data services including Athena, RDS, Glue, Kinesis, S3.
• Knowledge of Azure features and best practices.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing.
• Experience with Tableau dashboards and visualizations.
• Familiarity with data governance and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end data architecture including models, ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Lead data ingestion strategies from databases, APIs, files, and streaming sources.
• Develop, manage, and secure API integrations across platforms.
• Architect and maintain data solutions across multiple cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business goals.
• Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, and compliance.
• Optimize performance and cost of data infrastructure.
• Support the creation of dashboards and reports to drive insights.
• Document architectural standards and best practices.
