Job summary

Kraken is seeking a Data Architect for Audit Readiness to own inventories, playbooks, catalogs, and access controls across data systems. You will design and maintain ETL pipelines and an audit-ready data architecture to enable data-driven testing and confident reporting for internal audits.

You will collaborate with Data Engineering and Governance teams, translating complex audit requirements into scalable data solutions, while ensuring governance, traceability, and compliance from day one.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years in data analytics or data engineering, with exposure to internal audit, risk, or SOX in fintech or crypto.
• Experience designing data architectures with governance, traceability, and audit considerations from the start.
• Hands-on with production data pipelines and data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ETL pipelines and audit-ready data architecture to support audit planning and testing.
• Own inventories, playbooks, catalogs, and access processes for data systems in scope for audit.
• Provide technical guidance to stakeholders and translate audit requirements into technical specs.
