Job summary

Ernst & Young is seeking a Data, Application & Automation Delivery Analyst to join the Government and Infrastructure Practice in the US. You will build and maintain data platforms, automate workflows, and develop Power Platform solutions supporting government clients.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance or higher.
• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of related professional experience.
• Comfortable working in-person as needed.
• Experience developing, maintaining, enhancing, or supporting data, application, analytics, or automation solutions.
• Experience with SQL and foundational relational-database concepts.
• Coding or scripting experience using Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, R, or a comparable language.
• Familiarity with data extraction, transformation, loading, ingestion, integration, and validation processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or a comparable BI platform.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, integrations, or scheduled processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with nationally distributed teams.
• Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.
• Excellent English-language skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, test, document, and improve components of data platforms, databases, and codebases.
• Work from defined requirements to complete development and support tasks.
• Develop and maintain Power Platform solutions and related integrations.
• Create and enhance dashboards and analytics with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, scripts, and data transformations.
• Support data extraction, ingestion, transformation, loading, and validation processes.
• Maintain data pipelines, scheduled jobs, and automated processes.
• Document and maintain APIs, workflows, and reusable components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams; participate in code reviews and testing.
• Assist with data governance, security, and change-management practices.
