Stanford Graduate School of Business seeks a Data and Technology Specialist (DTS). The DTS will leverage technology, including enterprise-level LLMs, to scale the GSB External Relations Office’s (ER) programs and strategic initiatives. This role sits within the Data and Digital Operations (DDO) team, reports to the Director of Data and Digital Operations, and partners closely with colleagues across the department and school leadership.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape how External Relations uses data and AI to support Stanford GSB's alumni community, building the infrastructure and automations that free colleagues to focus on relationships, while helping lead the department's adoption of enterprise AI tools. You'll thrive here if you're comfortable with ambiguity, excited to turn loosely defined requests into clear technical solutions, and genuinely enjoy helping others learn new tools. Experience in higher education, nonprofit fundraising, or alumni relations is a plus, as is hands-on experience with enterprise AI platforms like Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini, though a demonstrated ability to learn new technology quickly matters more than prior experience with any one tool.
