Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking an Operations Data and Digital Transformation Manager to bridge Operations and IT/DBT, driving ERP, MES, PLM, and SIOP deployments.

You will standardize processes, govern master data, and lead analytics adoption to improve production, supply chain, and quality performance. Key responsibilities include coordinating readiness activities, leading root-cause analysis during system issues, and guiding initiatives that deliver measurable value through Industry 4.0

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Immersive experience in an Oracle Fusion ERP operating environment is a must.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or IT/DBT.
  • Experience implementing and supporting digital business tools in a manufacturing environment, MES, PLM, or SIOP tools.
  • Demonstrated project management experience with system deployments or upgrades.
  • Strong knowledge of master data structures (BOMs, routings, inventory) and operational KPIs.
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as strategic and tactical bridge between Operations & IT
  • Translate operational needs into IT system specifications and enhancements
  • Ensure ERP, MES, PLM, and SIOP enable and improve operational efficiency
  • Oversee Change Management & Adoption; train Operations teams in digital tools
  • Gather feedback from shop floor and materials teams to IT/DBT
  • Govern master data structures (BOMs, routings, inventory)
  • Standardize and improve processes to match digital workflows
  • Align dashboards KPIs (inventory turns, OTD, utilization) with systems
  • Lead projects for Oracle Fusion ERP, MES deployments, and SIOP adoption
  • Coordinate testing, validation, and go-live planning
  • Scout emerging tech: IoT, AI scheduling, AR/VR, advanced automation
  • Promote continuous improvement through digital innovation and automation
  • Stay updated on industry advances and advise management

Worker TypeRegularJob DescriptionSummaryThe Operations Data and Digital Transformation Manager serves as the key bridge between Operations and IT/Digital Business Transformation (DBT). This role ensures that digital tools, including complete Oracle Fusion support for the Business Unit Operations, ERP, MES, PLM, SIOP, and analytics dashboards are aligned to support production, supply chain, and quality execution.
