Job summary

Capital Group is seeking a Data Product Specialist to partner with business and technology teams to define and deliver data products, analytics, and reporting that improve decision-making and business outcomes. You will drive data product strategy, guide lifecycle practices, and mentor teams to adopt data-driven insights.

The role emphasizes collaboration, curating mature data capabilities, and applying AI/automation to deliver scalable, trusted insights across our California footprint.

Qualifications

  • Define and drive a data product vision aligned to business priorities.
  • Lead end-to-end data product lifecycle stages from intake to retirement.
  • Partner with data domain owners to assess maturity and close gaps.
  • Translate business needs into clear data and insight requirements.
  • Analyze data to produce evidence-based recommendations and insights.
  • Coach teams in communicating findings with narratives and visuals.

  • Guide teams to analyze data and produce actionable insights.
  • Coach others in communicating findings through clear narratives and visuals.

Charlotte Base Salary Range: $153,842-$246,147

Southern California Base Salary Range: $179,273-$286,837

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
