Job summary

Capital Group seeks a Data Product Specialist to define and deliver data products, analytics, and reporting that improve decision‑making and drive business outcomes.

You will partner with data domain owners and business units to translate needs into requirements, oversee analytics solutions, and stay ahead of emerging technologies to foster scalable, trusted insights.

As a Data Product Specialist

you willpartner with business, data domain owners/stewards, and technology teams to define and deliver data products, analytics, and reporting that improve decision-making, strengthen data domain maturity, and measurably advance business outcomes.

• I can define and drivea dataproduct vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned to business priorities, value, and delivery feasibility.
• I can lead end-to-end data product lifecycle practices (intake, discovery, prioritization, delivery, adoption, measurement, and retirement).
• I can partner with data domain owners and stewards to assess current-state maturity, define target maturity, and execute a plan to close gaps.
• I can build strong partnerships with business units to understand decision needs and translate them into clear data and insight requirements.
• I can guide teams to collect, analyze, and interpret data to produce evidence-based recommendations and actionable insights.
• I can coach others in communicating complex findings through clear narratives and effective data visualizations for stakeholders.
• I can lead comprehensive data and business process analysis to solve complex problems across multiple stakeholders and capabilities.
• I can oversee the design, build, and maintenance of analytics and reporting solutions that enable scalable, trusted insights.

Charlotte Base Salary Range: $153,842-$246,147Southern California Base Salary Range: $179,273-$286,837

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
