Job summary

Capital Group is seeking a Data Product Specialist in Los Angeles to define and drive a data product vision aligned to business priorities. You will lead end-to-end data product lifecycle from intake to retirement and partner with data domain owners to close maturity gaps.

You will build trusted analytics, translate insights into actionable decisions, mentor teams, and champion AI-ready practices as you shape data strategy and foster a culture of learning.

Qualifications

  • Define and drive a data product vision aligned to business priorities and delivery feasibility.
  • Lead end-to-end data product lifecycle practices: intake, discovery, prioritization, delivery, adoption, measurement, retirement.
  • Partner with data domain owners to assess current-state maturity and define target maturity.

Responsibilities

  • Build partnerships with business units to translate decision needs into data requirements.
  • Guide teams to collect, analyze, and interpret data for evidence-based recommendations.
  • Coach others in communicating findings with clear narratives and visuals for stakeholders.
  • Oversee design, build, and maintenance of analytics and reporting solutions for scalable insights.
  • Stay current on AI and data industry trends to improve standards and delivery.
  • Lead and develop talent, set goals, and support hiring efforts.

Charlotte Base Salary Range: $153,842-$246,147

Southern California Base Salary Range: $179,273-$286,837

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings. Temporary positions in the United States are excluded from the above mentioned compensation and benefit plans.
