Arizona 811 is seeking a Data Analyst with a strong aptitude for analytics, presentation, and a dependable work ethic. The role focuses on building analytics systems and dashboards across databases to uncover trends and growth opportunities.

You will work with management to define metrics, develop data models, and provide scalable reporting solutions in a dynamic nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, or statistics.
• Three (3) or more years of experience with database and model design and segmentation techniques.
• Technical writing experience including queries, reports and presentations.
• Practical experience in statistical analysis through use of business intelligence tools and software.
• Experience with multiple database and geospatial applications, including PostgreSQL.
• Demonstrated ability to recognize data trends and anomalies in a dynamic business environment.
• Ability to create user-friendly dashboards and reports for interpretation by others.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
• Must be flexible and adaptable to changing work environment and work schedules.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain analytics system and simple frameworks for complex problems.
• Evaluate organizational methods and provide data mappings and information-model specs for datasets.
• Collaborate with management to understand analytics needs, KPIs and critical metrics.
• Create and maintain interactive visualizations using reporting components from multiple databases.
• Proactively analyze data to answer key questions for stakeholders and operations.
• Define and implement data acquisition and integration logic for scalable performance.
• Create best-practice reports to identify trends and opportunities from complex datasets.
