Job summary

KPG99 INC is seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager / Business Analyst (PM/BA) for a remote, 6- to 12-month contract in the data and analytics domain. You will run Agile ceremonies, manage intake and tickets, gather requirements, and coordinate with stakeholders across e-commerce, sales, manufacturing, supply chain and procurement to keep work moving.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of Agile and practical application.

• Sufficient technical or data background to understand data sources and queries.

Job Description:

Our client is a vertically integrated consumer products manufacturer. Its business runs from e-commerce and B2B sales through manufacturing, supply chain and procurement. The Data & Analytics (BI) team is small and serves every part of the business. Its main initiative is building a modern data platform that brings together data from more than 20 source systems, including several ERPs.

The team needs a hands on PM/BA to keep work organized and moving. This person will run Agile ceremonies, manage intake and tickets, gather requirements, and handle stakeholder communication. That frees the engineers and analysts to focus on delivery. The role reports to the Head of BI / Data & Analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Run the team’s Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retros) and adjust them as needed. For example, replace a standup with an email, Slack or Teams update when the team needs the time back.
• Own the intake process: monitor incoming requests, triage and track tickets, and help prioritize the backlog with the BI leader.
• Work with departments across the business (e-commerce, sales, manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, finance and others) to gather and document requirements.
• Do a first assessment of feasibility: check whether the data exists, whether the request is already covered, or whether it needs more discussion before the team commits.
• Write and send regular project updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Follow up on dependencies and open items with internal teams and third parties so nothing stalls.
• Shield the team from ad hoc drive-by requests so they can stay focused on current priorities.
• Manage shifting priorities and deadlines. When executive requests take precedence, reset expectations with affected stakeholders tactfully and communicate revised timelines.
• Keep the team organized between cycles so the next sprint or phase starts with a clear plan.

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Manager, Business Analyst or hybrid PM/BA, ideally supporting data, BI or analytics teams
• Strong working knowledge of Agile and a practical, flexible approach to applying it
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including status reporting and stakeholder updates
• Highly organized self-starter who can work independently with little direction
• Comfortable working with many stakeholders across different business functions, with a changing mix of priorities
• Enough technical or data background to understand data sources and systems and ask the right questions when gathering requirements
