Cummins Inc. in Sandwich, Kent, UK is seeking a Data Analyst student to join the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team within the Power Systems Business Unit. You will gain exposure to how a global organization operates and work on PLM data from various stakeholders.

The placement starts Summer 2027 and requires onsite presence three days per week. You will collaborate with engineers, project managers, and IT teams to develop and implement solutions while learning through hands-on coding and

Qualifications

Studying towards STEM degree (CS/Software Eng desirable).
Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Knowledge of CS, software applications and PLM is beneficial.
Familiarity with Big Data concepts and Data Bricks is helpful.

Responsibilities

Assist in requirements gathering with engineers, PMs, PLM IT, and Corporate IT.
Analyze PLM data to identify trends and bottlenecks in product development.
Research new technologies, tools, or best practices to inform design.
Support creation of design documents, specifications, or diagrams outlining architecture.
Write and test code or configure software components under guidance.
Design and implement innovative solutions and present outcomes to customers.
